"The Making Of" Film Festival's mission is two-fold:

1. To help filmmakers finance their filmmaking habit through self-distribution.
2. To help filmmakers learn how to make better films cheaper and faster.

Films submitted to "The Making Of" Film Festival will be judged on two criteria:

1. The quality of the film (story, script, directing, acting, score, editing, special effects) and
2. How much the special features (extra scenes, director's commentary, the making of, etc) help other filmmakers learn to make better films cheaper and faster.

All category winners will be featured on SuperIndieFilms.com, with all the benefits that come with that: fastest downloads on the planet; set your own price for fans to download your film; you get paid 75% for each download.

This is the first film festival run by us here at Super Indie Films. One of our goals is to help filmmakers finance their next film by selling their prior films. "The Making Of" Film Festival is for films that are ready for self-distribution; the film has already done the festival circuit and the filmmaker is ready to take distribution into their own hands and start making money.
